File ExtensionDue to recent state legislation Buncombe County's 2026 Reappraisal was recently placed in a moratorium until Jan. 1, 2027. Your current real estate property tax bill will reflect the 2021 reappraisal value. Please note there are still a small number of properties our team is still working through and those values will be updated as soon as possible.
Note: If you appealed your 2026 reappraisal value, that appeal is still valid, and you will receive a notice in the mail from our team in early 2027. For questions email realestate.questions@buncombenc.gov.
